Rosie’s Tough Mudder challenge

A big thanks to Rosie Clough, who raised a total of £510 for us by doing Tough Mudder in Yorkshire at the end of July!

Rosie decided to fundraise for Chasing the Stigma after hearing Jake, our founder, speaking at a mental health seminar. She was moved by his story — and it also led her to seek help herself.

She formed a team for the event — Johanna Clough, Tyne Aldcroft, Natasha Daley and Chloe Lally — and our charity was chosen as many of the participants with her had also suffered with mental health issues. Rosie also said that training for the event kept her focussed on her own recovery and goals, and that the added exercise improved her health and wellbeing.

We are so thankful that Rosie and her team chose to fundraise for us. The money they have raised will help us to improve our current services and find innovative solutions to removing the stigma surrounding mental health.

If you’ve been inspired by their story and want to fundraise for us to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and help us to provide essential and innovative services to those in need, drop us a line!
