Association of Mental Health Providers launches signposting partnership
Association of Mental Health Providers has announced its new partnership with Chasing the Stigma, which allows it to embed the ground-breaking Hub of Hope platform onto its website to use as a signposting tool and include the services provided by its membership of 250+ voluntary and community sector mental health organisations.
Visitors currently have access to more than 3,000 services through the Hub of Hope and during the partnership and through the inclusion of services provided by its members, the organisation hopes this number continues to grow so those people that need support can access a service near them without leaving its page.
Kathy Roberts, CEO, Association of Mental Health Providers, commented: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Hub of Hope, provided by our member Chasing the Stigma, to make it easier for people who need help to get it at a time and place that suits them. Our members of VCSE mental health service providers support people locally in the community and it is so important that more people know what is on their doorstep when they need it. Both the NHS and the VCSE sector do crucial work to support people with mental health needs and this partnership will enable us to have an inclusive and comprehensive platform. By working together, we can share the same message of hope and provide those in need with as many options to find a route to recovery as possible.”
Jake Mills, Founder and CEO, Chasing the Stigma and Hub of Hope said: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Association of Mental Health Providers, as it means we can help even more people across the UK. With this partnership we are continuing to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and raise awareness of the Hub of Hope to make accessing mental health easier and to ensure everyone knows there is always hope, no matter what.”
The Hub of Hope can now be accessed via Association of Mental Health Providers website and through the app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store (Android), The Hub of Hope also has a ‘Need Help Now?’ button that connects users directly to Samaritans or Crisis Text Line’s messaging service.
