Hub of Hope user, Ryan Farmer, made it across the finish line of the Wirral Half Marathon with a smile still intact!
Ryan approached Chasing the Stigma earlier this year to share his desire to raise funds for us following his experiences of using the Hub of Hope to help with his anxiety, after he was told he would have to wait months for help.
Ryan said, “Chasing the Stigma take the fear out of mental health by normalising it. Starting to try and find help is no different than every other app we use to order food, track our running or listen to our mindfulness at bedtime podcasts. They’re a face and a voice that gives people “Hope” – me included.
It was a total pleasure getting their logo around the Arctic wastelands of New Brighton and the surrounding area!”
You can hear more about Ryan and his experience on the Mental Health Monday podcast that can be found here.
